We met at the school at 6:30, and rode the bus to Timpview. Paulo got there late and had to drive to Timpview by himself. Owen and I sat in the back of the bus and tried to get Kendyl's mom to wave at us the whole way there, but she wouldn't. We did a 1 mile warm up, and then ran around the school looking for a bathroom but they were all locked, and there were metal gates at the tops of almost all of the stairs. We had to go in the park bathroom, which was almost as bad as as a porta-potty, with 1 toilet that didn't flush, 1 toilet that was 'normal', and 2 urinals that you had to hold a button for 10 seconds to flush, without any divider, and not useful view-blocking sides. Spencer probably could have won the race, because he has beaten the kid who beat him before, and he was feeling sick. The top 10 finishers get medals, who on our team are Spencer, Me, Paulo, Austin, and Josh. We got places 2nd, 4th, 6th, 8th, and 10th, so every other runner in the top 10.  After the race, we ran to Lavell Edward's Stadium and ate a couple grapes that we found. We got back as the Girls Varsity was finishing their cooldown and drank a gallon of chocolate milk between the five of us. Then we played Egyptian Ratscrew, which Spencer won as usual, (though I got 2nd one round) We played frisbee and made Tracer splash himself multiple times with water whenever he tried to splash us. We set up a point system for responses from other vehicles on bus rides, with a wave being 1 point, a sign (peace, thumbs up, hang loose) being 2 points, and a middle finger being 3 points. We only had 1 person flip us off, while he was at a stoplight with his window down and we were yelling at him to wave at us. Also, a Timpanogos girls soccer player who was doing a car wash blew kisses to us. (Paulo claimed most of them.) Then I got home and took a 3 hour nap. All in all it was a successful day.

1 mile warmup, ran 400m, 600m, 800m, 600m, 400m, with 200m jogs in between with a 1 mile cooldown. Did abs in the wrestling room and had 1 legged wars. Zac ran again for the first time and finished by Paulo. Spencer was in front. Austin, Owen and I took the 200m rests slow and finished about 100-150 meters behind Paulo.

Ran 3 miles before school with Spencer, Zac, Austin, Derek, Tyler, and Josh. We ran South on the canal and Austin ruthlessly murdered an innocent snail in cold blood.

After school, we ran 6 miles, with about 6:10 pace once we got on the canal on the way out, and 6:30 on the way back. Derek kept up with us for about 4 miles, which was good for him, but I felt like I couldn't  breathe because my shirt was stuck tight to my body with the rain. We ran 2 stride laps on the track, and stretched and did weights in the wrestling room.

My quad is starting to hurt by the top, and it might be my hip-flexor, but I'm gonna just keep stretching it for now and see if it gets worse. Derek and Zac beat me on the stride laps because my quad was hurting, so hopefully it won't ever mess with my kicks to stay ahead of Austin at the end of races.

Morning run South on the Canal for 3 miles.

We did Mile Repeats, with a 1 mile warmup and 1 mile cooldown. We did 3 sets, and I got under 5:30 for all of them.... That's about it... Shortest post I've written yet! Yes!

Ran about 3 miles in the morning. A dog started chasing us, and ran straight for Zac, who was the farthest person from it. Then while I was looking back at him, I tripped over a manhole cover and almost faceplanted into the asphalt.

Ran 6 miles to Oak Canyon, on the way back turned down Lindon Center Street and ran to Nathan Stapleton's house. On the way there I got a really bad cramp that I slowed down for, and it was still sore (I didn't know cramps could make you sore!) When Owen and I were laughing.

Nathan Stapleton had told Austin he would make smoothies for us. None of us had our shirts on (except Tanner) so there were 9 shirtless guys (Josh, Zac, Derek, Austin, Nathan Mellot, Joseph, Tracer, and I) standing in his living room. The smoothies were good, and we ran less than 6:00 pace once we got off Tanner's trail back to the High School. We did strides and then weights in the Wrestling room.

3 miles this morning to Lindon Park and back.

This Afternoon we ran past Lindon Park. Derek, Joseph, Owen, Josh, and I ran in a group together. Tracer started with Spencer, Zac, and Paulo, but dropped out at the stop sign. (He says his knee is hurting him). On the way back, Joseph, Josh, and I stopped to use the bathroom at Lindon Park, and Ben caught up. I almost walked it all the way along the top of the white railing, while I was waiting for Josh and Joseph, and then we ran back. We started kind of slow, but then sped up. We did strides, but no Abs or weights today.

We met at the school at 7, then drove to the BYU Track. Spencer, Tanner, Paulo, Zac, Austin, Josh and I were on Varsity. During the Freshman/Sophmore Girl's race, Tanner, Austin, Josh and I went looking for bathrooms in BYU. We saw BYU Basketball players walking into the Mariott Center, and Austin went in looking for a bathroom. Tanner and I waited for 5 minutes, then followed him. We never found him, but we discovered that the bathrooms are really good when they were just cleaned. We had races down the stair-railings, and finally found Austin. We went back to the Track, and layed in the shade until we had to warm-up. On the warm up, we went back to the Mariott Center bathrooms, and then ran across the pedestrian bridges, past the Tanner Building, and back  to the track. During the race, I felt really slow my first mile, because everybody started really fast, but then I passed a bunch of people on my second and third laps. The finishing order was Spencer, Tanner, Zac, Paulo, Me, Austin, and Josh. After that in the JV races it was Nathan, Owen, Tracer, Joseph, Laramy, Derek, Reed, Ali, and Jared. (That's everyone who was under 20 minutes.) We ran a cooldown to the grapes we found during our Timpview cooldown and ate some. We played the waving game again, and decided that if a Semi honks at you (you can only be waving) that you get 5 points. I got 21 points, and Wade and Ali together got about 32.
